Jan Lastuvka has returned to Shakhtar Donetsk after Fulham decided against signing the goalkeeper on a permanent basis.
The 24-year-old made 12 appearances in his role as deputy to first-choice Antti Niemi but Lawrie Sanchez opted out of a move for the rated player.
The Czech admits he did not enjoy the best of seasons while in the Premiership after finding it hard to settle in West London.
“I know it has not been good. It did not help that I could not have my family with me,” Lastuvka told CTK.
