Lawrie Sanchez has told his new Fulham charges to take a more direct route to goal, according to Zat Knight.

The new Fulham boss seems ready to reprise the tactics of the ‘Crazy Gang’ he was part of at Wimbledon in order to keep the Cottagers’ up. Knight revealed: “He has told us to be direct. Get the ball out of our own half and get forward. At this stage route one or pretty football doesn’t matter — just as long as you get the points. We’ll be happy to have a bad game and get something out of it.”
