Ian Peare is available again as Lawrie Sanhez prepares to pick his first Fulham team for a crunch clash against Reading on Saturday.

The veteran centre back has recovered from the foot problem he picked up whilst scoring a last-gasp equaliser against Portsmouth last month and could go straight back into the centre of Fulham’s defence. Collins John is definitely out with a quad strain but Sanchez otherwise has a full squad to select from apart from the long term injury absentees in midfield: Jimmy Bullard, Mark Pembridge and Simon Elliott.

Reading will be without striker Leroy Lita as he serves the first game of a three-match suspension for violent conduct. Steve Sidwell is in contention to return after shaking off the foot he injured at Charlton, but manager Steve Coppell may prefer to look at other options in the engine room with the midfielder set to join Chelsea in the summer. Graeme Murty and Glen Little are both still injured.
