Fulham striker Bjorn Runstrom’s loan period at Championship side Luton is up, ending in a 2-3 home defeat by Norwich.

Runstrom has featured in 5 Luton games gaining 2 goals and 1 yellow card.

Hatter’s manager Mike Newell has said that he was keen to keep Runstrom at the club if it could be arranged.

Newell said: “We will be looking into that and seeing what is possible.

“The situation is that if Bjorn wants to stay, we would be happy to keep him here. The longer a player is at a club, the more confidence he gains, as he gets used to playing with other players.

“Bjorn has worked hard, but it has been frustrating for him and for us that, for large parts of the last two away games, he has had to play as part of a 10-man team.”
