Fulham striker Bjorn Runstrom has admitted it was “an easy decision” to join Championship side Luton on a month’s loan.

The Swede was one of three players to move to Kenilworth Road during the January transfer window, with manager Mike Newell keen to steer his club away from relegation trouble.

Runstrom said: “It was not a hard decision for me to come to Luton. It is very important to get regular first-team football.

“The Championship is a good league and the level of football is high, so it suits me well. Hopefully, I can score some goals.

“At Fulham, I have not had many chances, so I am happy to get the chance to come to Luton and play some first-team football.

“I am just here to try to give the team a hand, and I will be happy if I do that.”
