Fulham have shown an interest in young Real Madrid ‘B’ midfielder Esteban Granero, according to Spanish daily AS.

Cottagers manager Chris Coleman is believed to have been impressed by Granero’s performance for Spain’s Under-21 side in their 2-2 draw against England earlier this month in Derby.

And while Real do not wish to permanently part company with the 20-year-old, a year-long loan deal could be thrashed out in the summer.

“After the match in Derby against England, several clubs are interested in him,” Granero’s agent Teo Lazaro said.

Granero’s contract with Real Madrid ‘B’ is due to run out in June 2008, and Liverpool have already had a bid for the 2006 European Under-19 Championship winner rejected.
