Fulham boss Chris Coleman praised Leicester following his side’s 2-2 draw in the FA Cup.

The Foxes earned a third round replay at Craven Cottage with a last-gasp equaliser from Danny Cadamarteri, but Coleman was not too disheartened with the result.

Coleman was proud of his own players’ efforts but felt Leicester had contributed to an exciting cup game.

“At 2-1 it is never over. If we had got a third goal it would have killed it off but we didn’t do that,” he said.

“I’ve no complaints – Leicester did well. I had my strongest team out because I am taking the cup seriously. I’m just glad we are in the hat.

“It was a typical cup tie which was never over until the end but we are still in the hat.

“We knew Leicester would be tricky and this was probably the best they have played this season.

“I gave the players a pat on the back at the end because I thought they had given their all.”
