Moritz Volz has called on Fulham to string a run of results together to pull away from the relegation zone.

Fulham have slipped down to 13th in the Premiership table after a run of one win in six matches.

Volz is aware that the continuation of the team’s current form could lead to the club becoming embroiled in a relegation battle.

With home fixtures against Middlesbrough and West Ham next up, German full back Volz has demanded an upturn in results.

“I think we are now at the stage where we really have to focus on getting a good run together, because over the last two months we had a really good result against Arsenal, but apart from that there were games we would probably have liked to get more points from,” Volz told Sky Sports News.

“We know as much as we want to stay away from the teams below us, we want to put a run together that will take us to the top 10 spots.

“That is what we really want to be in this season.”
