According to reports in the Norwegian media, Fulham have reignited their interest in Odd Grenland defender Per Nilsson.

The Cottagers were linked with the talented stopper over the summer and boss Chris Coleman is reportedly ready to make a renewed bid when the transfer window opens in January.

However the London side are likely to have to pay more than £1.2million for Nilsson after Sunderland had a similar offer turned down before the end of August.

Nilsson has made no secret of his desire to leave Norway in the New Year, but the Odd Grenland star is not aware of any new interest from West London at present.

“I know they were interested in the past but I haven’t heard anything right now,” Nilsson told Expressen.

Fulham recently saw regular starter Zat Knight ruled out for two months due to a broken jaw, and Coleman’s squad is currently operating at breaking point after a series of injuries.
