Fulham manager Chris Coleman has urged the club’s fans to be patient as Claus Jensen and Luis Boa Morte fight back from serious injuries.

Jensen was out for ten months before his return just over a month ago, while Boa Morte was back in action in the 1-0 defeat by Wigan after more than a month out with a fractured cheekbone.

Coleman said “It was difficult for Claus. He needs to get games, that’s all.

“He needs to get a run of ten games, once he does that we’ll see an even better Claus Jensen.

“He’s had such a bad time with injuries since he’s joined us that we’ve not seen the best out of him.

“Luis has missed a lot of football over the last six weeks, he’s not fit physically and mentally he’s got to get back in tune with the game.

“He’s the captain and he’s a very influential player, but he’s not ready to play 90 minutes.”
