Fulham new-boy Bjorn Runstrom says he is ready to make an impact at Craven Cottage, with the striker hoping to make his Premiership debut against Manchester United on Sunday.

The 22-year-old moved to England from Hammarby and has already impressed Fulham boss Chris Coleman during his short time at the London side.

Indeed Runstrom could be set for a baptism of fire at Old Trafford, live on PremPlus on Sunday, and the forward says he feels ready to tackle the demands of English football.

“We will see, it would be cool [to play against United],” Runstrom told Sportbladet.

“It has gone well, I have got adjusted to the side, the playing style and the pace, but I don’t feel any pressure.

“We will see how much I get to play, but you need to have patience and take the chance when it comes.

“I don’t know how the coach is thinking but he has said that he is pleased with what he has seen.

“The competition is tough but that was expected.

“It is stimulating to try to take a place, I believe in myself and am ready to deliver.”
