Ipswich Town have offered a contract to Fulham’s out-of-favour French midfielder Sylvain Legwinski.

Legwinski, 33, has recently been on trial at Ipswich after trying out at Frence club Troyes AC.

The Frenchman, brought in during the Jean Tigana era at Craven Cottage, has not played for the Cottagers since January, and has not been given a squad number this season.

“We’ve had a look at Sylvain, he had a look at us and negotiations are going on at the moment,” Ipswich boss Jim Magilton told his club’s website.
