Swansea are set to sign their transfer record by bringing Fulham defender Dean Leacock, according to the Evening Post.

The 22 year-old defender, who can play at right back or in the centre of a back four, is set to leave Craven Cottage for a fee of £375,000. Leacock has been at Fulham for five years and came through the club’s academy. He has made nine senior appearances for the Whites and has recently spent time on loan at Coventry.

Swansea have worked hard behind the scenes to secure Leacock’s signature and chairman Huw Jenkins has told the local press that he is ‘delighted’ to have finalised the deal.
