Middlesbrough have allowed Franck Queudrue to link-up with Premiership rivals Fulham.

The French full back is keen to end his stint on Teesside and now looks set to pen a deal with Fulham.

Charlton had expressed a late interest, but The Cottagers are on course to seal his signature.

Fulham are currently on a pre-season tour in Austria and Queudrue has been allowed fly out and join them, even though his move is not finalised.

“The deal is not yet completed but we have allowed Franck to fly out to Austria and join Fulham at their training camp because we believe that it will be done,” said Boro chief executive Keith Lamb.

Middlesbrough have allowed Queudrue to depart as they have already signed his replacement in the shape of Sunderland’s Julio Arca.
