Fulham are in talks with Leyton Orient over sought-after defender Gabriel Zakuani, the player’s agent has revealed.
The 20-year-old Democratic Republic of Congo international was one of the outstanding performers in League Two as Orient won promotion last term, and he has since become a wanted man.
Agent Richard Cody said: ‘The only comment I can make at this moment is that both clubs are talking.’
Zakuani has made 87 appearances for the Brisbane Road side since signing professional terms in 2002, scoring three goals.
