Tottenham are poised to move for Fulham’s Steed Malbranque following their £34million sponsorship deal with gambling giants Mansion.

Liverpool, Manchester City and French champions Lyon are also interested after the Frenchman was slapped on the transfer list by Craven Cottage boss Chris Coleman when he failed to agree a new contract.

Spurs hope to sign him for a cut-price fee as the play-maker is out of contract at the end of next season.

He joined Fulham from Lyon for £5m in 2001 and has made over 200 appearances for the club and scored 44 goals.

But Malbranque is believed to be disillusioned at Fulham following their fight against relegation.
