Claus Jensen is back in training with Fulham as he targets a Premiership return before the end of the season.

The Dane has had worrying troubles with injury but is pencilled in for a reserve date with Watford on Thursday.

Chris Coleman will be pleased to see the midfielder finally making some progress as his last appearance was at Wigan Athletic back in October.

“I trained with the squad on Thursday for the first time and I have trained every day since,” Jensen explained to BT.

“I can still feel some aching but that is very normal when you have been out for five and a half months.”

Fulham’s next game is Saturday’s trip to Sunderland as they bid to pick up their first win on their travels all season, but the game is likely to come too soon for Jensen.
