Fulham have won the race to sign Tottenham midfielder Michael Brown, according to Sky Sports News.

The deal would be surprise given that Spurs boss Martin Jol and Brown himself have both recently spoken of their desire to remain in north London, but Fulham’s offer of first team football appears to have won the day. Tottenham’s signings of Jermaine Jenas and Edgar Davids reduced Brown’s chances of regular football after an excellent season last year and Chris Coleman appears to have added experienced cover to his injury-hit midfield.
