Michael Brown has completed his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Fulham.

The 29 year-old has signed a three and a half year contract at Craven Cottage after making just eleven appearances this season at White Hart Lane. “I’m very excited to be joining Fulham at this point in my career and I’m looking forward to the challenges that this new opportunity brings,” the midfielder said.

“I enjoyed my time at Spurs and wish the club and its supporters well, as everyone there was really good to me. But if I’m honest my prospects there became very limited, so when a club like Fulham who play attractive passing football showed an interest in me, there really was only one decision that I could make, and I’m really looking forward to working with Chris Coleman and the rest of the squad”

Coleman hailed his new signing as being able to ‘bring a new dimension to the [Fulham] midfield.’ The Fulham boss added: “Michael is a talented footballer and a great lad who I know will fit in well here. He will add a new dimension to the midfield, which will improve our options and add much needed strength and depth to the squad. I am delighted with the way this transfer window has panned out for the club, and now we can really push on for a strong finish over the next 15 games and hopefully end the season on a high note.”
