Martin Djetou is still looking for a new club after seeing proposed switches to Fulham and West Brom fall through.

The Frenchman is a free agent after his contract was terminated at Nice and is still able to get a contract despite the transfer window closing at the end of last month.

After a previous spell at Fulham, the versatile defender was keen to link up again with Chris Coleman’s Cottagers and also explored the prospect of heading to West Brom.

“In France, no-one seems attracted by me,” he complained to France Football.

“I was close to going back to England but Fulham preferred to sign Philippe Christanval, and nothing materialised with West Bromwich Albion.

“If I can’t see anything coming, I will go wherever people will want me.”

Djetou is only 31 years old and feels he has a lot to offer any clubs who may need to bolster their squad ahead of the winter.
