Ray Lewington has returned to Fulham as the club’s reserve Team Coach.

Lewington is back at Craven Cottage some eleven years after leaving the West London club. Having taken charge of the Whites between 1986 and 1990, Lewington went on to manage Crystal Palace, Brentford and Watford, who sacked him in March.

Lewington spoke of his delight at joining Chris Coleman’s backroom staff:

“I am delighted to return to Fulham Football Club after an absence of 11 years. I have fond memories as a player and manager and have always felt welcomed by fans and staff. There is a great atmosphere and togetherness here and I’m looking forward to working with Chris Coleman and all of the backroom staff during this forthcoming season.”
