Argentinian goalkeeper joined Fulham on a free transfer in July 2002 having helped Alaves reach the 2001 UEFA Cup final. He struggled to settle in London and made just two appearances for the Whites. He helped ten-man Fulham earn a point at White Hart Lane on his Premiership debut, having come on after Maik Taylor was sent off in the first half but conceded twice in his second and final appearance as Jean Tigana’s side surrendered a two-goal lead against Southampton. He spent a season on loan at Estudiantes de La Plata, whom he joined permanently after being released by Fulham in 2005.
