Fulham are aiming to bring £750,000-rated Middlesbrough striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink back to London to replace Andy Cole, according to today’s Daily Express.

With seven other strikers on the books at The Riverside, Steve McClaren will find it difficult to justify rejecting an offer for the 33-year-old. Mark Viduka was widely tipped to be the first forward to leave the Riverside Stadium following the summer signing of Yakubu but with no concrete offers emerging for the Australian international, McClaren may be forced to sell Hasselbaink in order to raise funds for midfield signings.
