Australian international midfielder Ahmad Elrich has revealed he is poised to sign a three-year deal with Fulham “early next month”.

Elrich, 23, will arrive at Craven Cottage in a deal worth £500,000 after walking out on Korean club Busan Icons following a contractual dispute in December.

He said: “This is a dream come true for me, what player wouldn’t want to play in the Premiership? To achieve it without having a club for five months and after what I’ve been through, I don’t know if that has happened before.

“Chris Coleman said he was short of a right-sided player and that is where I will slot in,” added Elrich. “It hasn’t quite hit me yet but the feeling is unbelievable.

“Fulham are a quality club, the fans are great, the coaching staff are young and they have some excellent players. I have every chance in the world to play regularly and to do well.”
