The agent of Socceroo midfielder Ahmad Elrich says he expects his client to complete a move to English Premier League side Fulham in ‘the next few days’.

Elrich has apparently impressed Fulham boss Chris Coleman enough to persuade the London club to end his nightmare in Korea, with skysports.com reporting Fulham will pay Busan I’Park (formerly Icons) around £500,000 (AUS$1.2million) for the player.

“Fulham like what they have seen and Ahmad is very happy,” Elrich’s agent Dean Sheehan said.

“We are now waiting for the two clubs just to agree terms and we hope that should be done within the next few days.”

Newspaper reports had previously suggested Elrich may move to Blackburn, but Sheehan said Fulham had acted swiftly to try to sign his client.

“To suggest Blackburn have been snubbed is not true,” he said. “Fulham merely got there first and thus have first option on Ahmad, it is that simple.”
