Bournemouth are hoping to sign Fulham left-back Adam Green on a month’s loan.

The 21-year-old defender made his debut for the Cottagers last season, and has started four games in the Premiership during the current campaign.

He recently spent a month on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, making three appearances for the League One side.

The Cherries are currently beset by injuries in defence – the latest of which saw left-back Warren Cummings suffer a broken leg last weekend.

Boss Sean O’Driscoll has already been forced to bring in two defenders on loan – Aston Villa’s James O’Connor and Southampton’s Matthew Mills.

Green played for Fulham’s reserves on Wednesday evening as they drew 0-0 with West Ham.
