Wales left-back Ben Thatcher is undergoing a medical with Fulham and is set to complete his £500,000 move from Manchester City in the next few hours.
Thatcher requested a move after having his house burgled twice since his summer arrival from Leicester.
City boss Keegan did want Thatcher, 29, to stay until he could find an experienced replacement
But with Stephen Jordan now fit again after an ankle injury, Keegan decided to release Thatcher immediately.
The 29-year-old was having a medical at Fulham this afternoon and could come into contention for tomorrow’s trip to Birmingham.
