Everton are lining up a £6m move for Fulham’s French midfielder Sylvain Legwinski.

Toffees boss David Moyes has identified the former Monaco midfielder as a potential replacement for Thomas Gravesen, who appears destined to join Real Madrid. But Chris Coleman has spoken defiantly this month about the fact that he doesn’t have to sell any of his key players and Fulham are understood to want to keep the tough tackling 31 year-old in their ranks.

Legwinski has made more than 135 senior appearances for Fulham since signing from Bordeaux in 2001. He helped the Whites win the Intertoto Cup in 2002.
