Fulham substitute Collins John is the subject of a police complaint after allegedly exchanging words with Birmingham fans after his side’s second goal in a 2-1 win at St Andrews.

Fulham boss Chris Coleman confirmed that a complaint had been made following Papa Bouba Diop’s headed goal eight minutes from time.

John went to celebrate with his team-mates behind the goal at the Railway End of the ground and it is there that the alleged incident took place.

Fulham manager Chris Coleman said : “The fourth official said there had been an incident. Collins joined in the celebrations and got involved with a few words between him and spectators.

“I don’t know exactly what has happened and I will not be saying any more until I find out.”
