Championship outfit Coventry City are set to unveil Micky Adams as their new manager.

The Sky Blues have called a press conference for 1pm on Friday where the former Leicester City man is expected to be presented.

Adams, who played for three-and-a-half years for Coventry during the 80s, has been out of work since leaving The Foxes early in October.

Coventry have been searching for a successor since Peter Reid left by mutual consent after he won 10 of his 31 games in charge of the side.

Adrian Heath had been in temporary charge at the club.

The Highfield Road outfit are in the final year at the famous ground before moving to their new arena for the start of the 2005/06 season.
