Fulham boss Chris Coleman was not that disappointed with the level of his team’s performance but says that Tuesday night’s home game with Birmingham is of huge significance.

Fulham are hovering above the relegation places at the foot of the table but Coleman insists there were signs of improvement.

He said: “I was worried about this game before it started but I saw more positive things than in recent matches.

“When we were 1-0 down and trying to get a goal, we had one or two chances but did not take them. Birmingham is now a huge game for us.”
