Moritz Volz has pledged his future to Fulham despite interest being shown in him from Die Bundesliga.

The former Arsenal defender has said that he is more than content in England and has no intention of quitting Craven Cottage.

Volz, who recently won his first call-up to the German national side against Cameroon, has spoken of his intention to see out his contract.

”Generally speaking my future is wide open and I don’t want to rule anything out,”

”But at the moment I am not thinking of joining Die Bundesliga.”

Volz moved to England at the age of 16 to join Arsenal from Schalke and it is the same club who are thought to be the leading contenders to land his signature should he return to his homeland.

However, the player is keen to play down any talk of a return to Germany.

He continued: ”I have never regretted the move to England.

”I have improved a lot over there, as my call-up for Germany shows. I like the football played in The Premiership because it is fast and challenging.

”My contract runs until 2007 and I am feeling really well in London.”
