Sylvain Legwinski made his return to competitive action tonight as Fulham’s reserve side were beaten 2-0 by Coventry City.

The French midfielder, who injured ankle ligaments when he landed awkwardly in training last month, took part in the opening 45 minutes of the encounter and was replaced, as planned, at the interval.

The Whites failed to follow up their impressive performance against Chelsea as a first half strike from Craig Reed and second half header from Claus Jorgensen consigned the Reserves to their fifth defeat of the season.
