Chris Coleman feels Fulham are growing in confidence after putting together a run of four consecutive victories before their derby with Chelsea.

The Whites needed extra time to overcome a tricky League Cup at Nottingham Forest in midweek but can take great heart from wins over Tottenham and Newcastle that have eased the pressure at the wrong end of the table. The Fulham boss told his pre-match press conference:

“The mood in the camp is good. Obviously everybody is happy because we’ve had four wins on the bounce. We’re playing Chelsea, it’s a great game to be involved in, especially when you’re playing with a bit of confidence. So we’re looking forward to it.

It’s going to be a tough task of course, they’re a top team, but we’ll be going in to it with plenty of confidence. You need to do that because when you play a team like Chelsea without that then you’ll be going in to the game a little bit naively and you’re going to get beat, simple as that. But if we can beat Chelsea tomorrow then it’ll be a great achievement for us. We’re looking forward to it.”
