Fulham have confirmed that French forward Steve Marlet will spent the 2004/05 season on loan with Olympique Marseille.
Marlet, who acrimoniously demanded a move away from Fulham after falling out with Chris Coleman last August, spent last season with l’OM and had hoped to make the switch permanent this summer. Marseille were unable to front up the cash to buy the French international – so the clubs have agreed another loan deal, with Marlet not part of Coleman’s future plans.
