Martin Djetou is furious with Parma, after they refused to release him from his deal enabling a move to Premiership Fulham – where he has starred on loan for two years.

The French defender is owed money by the Italian club, and hoped this would precipitate his release from the remaining two years of his contract.

However, with the club suspending him from training after medical tests found heart problems – Djetou is furious with the way he has been treated.

“I did the medical examinations they asked of me and now I am waiting for the results,” explained Djetou.

“Because they owe me money they are looking for big problems.

“They say I have a large heart but that has always been the case.

“I just want them to pay what I am owed for the past two years and the 2002 Coppa Italia bonus which I won.”

Djetou has been at Craven Cottage since the summer of 2002, after being loaned out to ease the financial burden on the struggling club.
