Paul Nevin’s reserve side recorded a solid three-goal win over Sutton United on Tuesday evening in a pre-season friendly. A fantastic diving header from Michael Timlin and a brace from Ishmael Ehui saw the Whites comfortably home.

Nevin was pleased with both the performance and the margin of victory:

“Sutton United fielded a lot of older players so it was a physical test for our lads. But we coped will with it and put in a thoroughly professional performance. Ishmael stood out with his two goals, his work rate and some great pieces of individual skill. But all around I thought it was a fantastic effort from the boys.”

FULHAM RESERVES (4-4-2): Flitney; Nowacki, Watkins, Fontaine, Milsom; Doherty, Collins (Mabbutt), McDermott (Bagley), Timlin; Ehui (Lawless), McGoldrick (Noble).
