Fulham are confident that they have concluded a £2m deal to sign Canadian international Tomasz Radzinski from Everton, according to the Daily Mirror.

The tabloid reports that Chris Coleman hopes to complete the transfer within the next 48 hours and that Fulham are delighted to have secured one of their top summer targets after protracted negotiations with Everton. Radzinski, who rejected a three-year contract offer from the Toffees, is determined to leave Goodison Park after becoming disillusioned with a lack of playing time under David Moyes and an explosive row between the pair during the club’s pre-season tour of Austria.

Fulham have had to double their initial offer – dismissed as derisory by Everton in May – to land the 30 year-old, who Coleman believes can fire the Cottagers into the UEFA Cup reckoning this season.
