Veteran goalkeeper Dave Beasant may finally have hung up the gloves after an illustrious playing career – but he is looking forward to the next chapter of his footballing journey as a member of Chris Coleman’s backroom staff.
Beasant told the club’s official website:
“I’ve played for a long time and I didn’t really expect to be back in the Premier League until I took a call from Chris last summer. We’ve got excellent goalkeepers here and I am looking forward to working with them. I have learned so much from Chris and his team and am hoping to build on what we have done last season.”
