Fulham defender Abdeslam Ouaddou is stalling over a permanent move to Rennes after an impressive loan spell at the French club.

The Moroccan international joined Rennes on a season-long loan in July and they are keen to keep him on a permanent basis.

Rennes are believed to have offered Ouaddou a three-year deal, but the giant defender is keeping his options open as a number of clubs have expressed interest in his services.

Spanish side Espanyol, Italians Chievo and a mystery French side are all reported to be monitoring Ouaddou’s situation at Rennes.

Fulham are unlikely to stand in his way if they receive a suitable offer, as he does not figure in Chris Coleman’s long-term plans.

Ouaddou is set to wait until the end of the season before making a decision on his future and he is believed to favour staying in France.
