Fulham winger Luis Boa Morte has been left out of Portugal’s squad for this summer’s European Championships.

Boa Morte, who scored nine league goals for Fulham as they finished ninth, was a surprise omission from Luiz Felipe Scolari’s 23-man squad for Euro 2004. Porto goalkeeper Vitor Baia and Stuttgart’s Fernando Meira were also not in the final party picked by the Brazilian coach.

Fulham forward Andrejs Stolcers has been selected in Latvia’s squad for the tournament in Portugal.
