Mateja Kezman would be interested in a move to Fulham if they agree a deal with PSV Eindhoven.

The prolific striker wants to play in England next season and Chris Coleman is one of several Premiership managers who have been impressed by the 25-year-old.

Kezman has a better scoring record for PSV than Ruud van Nistelrooy did and his club want to cash in on the Serbia & Montenegro international – who is valued at above £6million – before his contract runs out next year.

Coleman hopes to buy a replacement for Louis Saha and has money to spend from the Frenchman’s £12.8m transfer to Manchester United. Kezman’s agent Chiel Dekker said: “Mateja would be happy to talk to Fulham.

“He needs a new challenge. He has shown he can score goals in Holland and wants to see if he can do it in the Premier League.”

Meanwhile, Dekker denied reports that Liverpool are lining up a bid for Kezman.

He added: “I cannot say he is a target for Liverpool.”
