Fulham manager Chris Coleman is hopeful of being able to tie up a permanent deal for loan star Martin Djetou.

The 30-year-old Frenchman has been with the Cottagers for the last two seasons and with his parent club Parma now in financial trouble, Coleman is hoping to swoop.

He said: “We know Parma have financial problems, but we haven’t sat down to talk about Martin yet.

“I would like him to stay. He’s a good squad member who can do a job in defence and in midfield.”
