Fulham boss Chris Coleman wants to set up a meeting between Luis Boa Morte and Duncan Ferguson to resolve their row.

Boa Morte has accused Ferguson of racially abusing him in an FA Cup tie at Everton last month, although Ferguson strenuously denies the claims.

“Everton boss David Moyes and I want the two players to meet, shake hands and forget all about it,” Coleman told BBC Radio Five Live’s Sportsweek.

“That would be the best way and the end of the matter.”

Coleman added: “I would like to think Luis would be prepared to do that. It would be nice if Duncan Ferguson appeared as well.

“That would be the best way and the end of the matter. Whether it will happen or not, I don’t know.”

Last Thursday Fulham made a formal complaint to the Football Association over Boa Morte’s allegation.
