Moritz Volz is in talks with Fulham about turning his loan switch from Arsenal into a permanent move.

Arsenal have agreed a fee with their London rivals, who had the 20-year-old German on loan for the first four months of the season. That spell ran out on December 31 and, since then, discussions over his future have been taking place.

Arsene Wenger told his pre-match press conference that Volz will have the final decision over whether he completes a switch to Fulham.

“The transfer has not been completed,” he said. “It is down to personal terms between Fulham and Moritz. I believe Fulham want him. It is down to Moritz to make that decision.”
