Lambeth-born striker Luke Cornwall was a highly-rated youngster who came through the Fulham academy to break into Kevin Keegan’s first-team in 1998. He made his league debut against Stoke City, earning a first start against York City eleven days later when he opened the scoring. Cornwall made seven first-team appearances for the Whites but suffered as big-spending Fulham brought in new forwards, and was eventually released in 2001.
