West Ham completed the one month loan signing of defender Jon Harley from Fulham and handed the full back an instant debut against Sheffield United in Saturday’s Division One encounter.
Hammers boss Alan Pardew has been very active in the transfer market after selling England number one David James to Manchester City in midweek.
The East Londoners brought Rami Shaaban and Andy Melville to the club on Friday, and followed it up with the capture of Harley.
The former Chelsea defender has reportedly fallen out with Fulham boss Chris Coleman, and has been allowed to move across the capital.
Harley spent time on loan at Sheffield United, but lined up against Neil Warnock’s promotion-chasers on Saturday.
