Alain Goma is hoping that his injury woes are now a thing of the past after returning to the Fulham starting line-up.

The classy French defender has spent most of this season on the sidelines with knee and calf complaints but has started Fulham’s last two fixtures.

“I need to get a few more games under my belt to get my best rhythm back, but I think that once we’ve all settled down and got our games going we’ll have a very good finish to the season.”

The experienced centre back is expected to line up as part of Chris Coleman’s defence in the London derby against in-form Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
