Fulham and Manchester United have denied reports that they have agreed a deal that will see striker Louis Saha move to Old Trafford.
Newspaper reports this morning suggested that the French forward was heading to Manchester this morning to undertake a medical ahead of what he has described as his ‘dream move’. United remain interested in signing Saha, who is Sir Alex Ferguson’s top January transfer target, but both clubs have insisted that there is no agreement over the transfer.
Fulham are understood to be holding out for something close to their £12m asking price, with United only willing to offer around £8m at this stage. Fulham spokesman Chester Stern said: “There has been no fresh bid from Manchester United. There is no truth in the story at all.”
