Out of favour Celtic winger Bobby Petta could be on his way to Fulham for the rest of the season on loan.

The Dutchman has been axed from Martin O’Neill’s first-team plans this season.

And the Parkhead boss is hoping a spell south of the border might spark interest in the player and get him off the wage bill.

Petta was handed a new contract by Celtic two seasons ago after an impressive start to the season, but has struggled for form of fitness since. Fulham boss Chris Coleman believes the winger will offer the Whites another option out wide and there’s every chance a loan deal can be struck in January.
